"I started this painting while live painting at Lightning in a Bottle 2024. This really marks the moment I truly began sharing my art with the world. Before this, my paintings ended up in the trash or with friends and family that pulled it out of the trash. 🤪
The painting was inspired by Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. In the story, there are haters of the factory and have zero imagination or wonder left.
But I’m team candy magic and imagination is everything💫💡
So this painting is about protecting and valuing childlike wonder. Keep dreaming, creating, and seeing magic in the world, even when being serious feels like the “responsible” choice."
